Summary:
A Sales Trainee for Reinhart Foodservice is responsible for maintaining and expanding your portfolio of customers to maximize sales and profits of foodservice products and value added services. The qualified candidate must be a strategic thinker and innovative planner that can identify business opportunities, build positive customer relations and maintain account relationships while seeking and cultivating new accounts.
Primary Job Responsibilites may include, but not limited to:
Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within assigned territory.
Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and service to meet needs.
Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services provided.
Address customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses. Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
Assess market data and recommend products to Reinhart customers, based on business needs and goals.
Communicate and collect on accounts as necessary; collect all balances due based on approved credit terms.
Be available for emergency deliveries to customers.
Participate in company functions, promotions, customer visits, and customer events. Attend and participate in general sales meetings.
Manage deliveries and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process (for example, out of stock items, special order items, low inventory, etc.).
Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as special order requests, customer bid files, and sales/gross profit margin data.
Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining sales records, processing credits and pick-up requests, preparing sales quotes and menu suggestions, and filing reports.
Participate in training sessions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED),
1 Year of sales, and/or chef/restaurant management experience, and/or related (Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality; or Culinary Arts) degree
Basic pc skills and proficiency with MS Outlook
Valid driver's license and clean MVR with dependable means of transportation
Infrequent lifting of 25-30 pounds may be required
Must pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check)
Preferred Skills and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality; or Culinary Arts
1 year of foodservice sales experience
Restaurant management / chef experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
