We are seeking a skilled and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team.
As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting.
This is a part-time position with competitive compensation.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using Dentrix - Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries - Collect patient information, update medical records, and maintain confidentiality - Assist with billing and payment processing - Coordinate patient referrals to specialists when necessary - Manage patient flow in the waiting area and ensure timely appointments - Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Receptionist is preferred - Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus - Proficiency in using phone systems and Dentrix - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Friendly, professional demeanor and reliable We offer competitive pay based on experience.
