CNC Machinist Trainee
CNC Machinist Trainee 03RD Shift Looking for candidates who are motivated, have mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and would like a career as a CNC Machinist This is a progressive position that will develop toward becoming a CNC Machinist.
Job Responsibilities - Work closely with experienced machinists Learn CNC Machine operation, setup and adjustments.
Learn to work from drawings.
Learn to recognize machining issues and make the necessary adjustments.
Inspect production to Job specifications Other duties as assigned.
Physical demands - Continuous standing and intermittent walking, bending and assisted lifting of parts that may be in excess of 50 lbs.
This position also requires the ability to reach, push, and pull with hands and arms to position parts in machine.
Skills and Experience - No previous experience required - will train you! Solid math skills Mechanical ability Interest in manufacturing Must be 18 to operate machine, if under 18 can start training in another area.
